Epta are proud to announce their success in winning the “Convenience Retail project of the Year” award at the tenth annual RAC Cooling Industry Awards in London, where leaders in the cooling industry compete to win awards for the most innovative, imaginative and environmentally friendly products and developments.

The Frozen food range becomes richer with the new Elephant UP multidecks and the Cayman UP combined cabinets by Costan. These are negative-temperature cabinets suitable for the display of pre-packed ice cream and frozen food in supermarkets, hypermarkets and cash & carry stores. Great visibility of the displayed product and high energy efficiency at frozen food temperatures are the two big plusses created by RevUP Technology: best visual display to boost profitability in the department.

2015 opens with one more success for Epta who have been awarded the prestigious Janus de L’Industrie for the second year in a row. This award honours products for their innovational design and the tangible benefits they create for end users.

Costan presents EptaBlue Waterloop, an innovative solution that converts each connected refrigerated unit, be it a cabinet or a cold room, from remote-cooled to plug-in, using a closed water circuit which is easily installed with a plug&play link. In addition, the system's inverter and electronic valve adjust the evaporating temperature to match the demand on each cabinet and external conditions (winter/summer, high/low attendance, day/night).

Costan's Limana manufacturing site, in the Province of Belluno, Italy, has received the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Integrated certification from the independent agency TÜV Austria Cert GmbH. This demonstrates the company's dilligence in tenaciously pursuing quality excellence, respect for the environment and for the community, while ensuring the highest levels of occupational health and safety.

Epta is co-operating with Granarolo to communicate the Milk Experience in the company's booth at Expo 2015. In the experiential tour organised in this international showcase, visitors will be helped to discover milk as a creational element and to consider its  significance as the earliest source of nutrition for man.
