Epta was awarded a special mention for the RevUP Family by Costan and Bonnet Névé for the prestigious German Design Award 2016, organized by the German Design Council, today in its fifth edition.

Costan will feature in the eagerly-awaited fifth season of MasterChef Italia, starting on Thursday 17 December on SkyUno HD.

On 10 - 11 April Epta and its brands Eurocryor, Misa and Costan will be at IMeat 2016, the two-day event dedicated to butchery that will be held at ModenaFiere Pavilion A Stand.

Epta will be back again this year at the National Convenience Show with its brands George Barker, Cold Service, Iarp, Costan and Misa to present all of the novelties dedicated to retail sector, from convenience, petrol forecourts to cash&carry stores and sandwich shops to cafés. (Stand C39) The three-day event, which will be held at the NEC (Birmingham) between 18 and 20 April, has confirmed its status as the main English trade fair for the convenience store market.

Epta will be a Platinum Sponsor of the fourth Edition of Retail & Food Energy, scheduled to take place on 25 May at Atahotel Expo Fiera in Milan. The event, organised by the International Institute of Research, will be a unique opportunity for Energy Managers and Directors of Technical Deprtments, who will be able to share best practices and successful cases regarding the reduction of energy consumption and the issue of store design.

Epta will be  sponsoring the XII IIR Gustav Lorentzen Natural Working Fluids Conference, to be held in Edinburgh from 21 to 24 August 2016, at the new Conference Centre built for the occasion at the heart of the Heriot-Watt University Campus.

Food waste is an increasingly pressing problem for Europe, and one which has considerable knock-on effects at an economic, environmental and social level. Recent research conducted by FUSIONS, a project funded by the European Commission Framework Programme 7, revealed that the annual food wasted  created by member States of the European Union totals around 88 million tonnes, at an estimated loss of 143 billion Euro*.

Costan has been awarded the Prize for Best Practices for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Mobility by Legambiente’s National Centre for promoting renewable sources. The ceremony took place during the 28th Festambiente, an international festival in the entrance to the Maremma Nature Park with 60,000 visitors each year. This award is made to companies such as Costan which are committed to creating innovations offering the highest energy savings and carbon footprint reduction whilst saving resources.
