CONAD PAC 2000A OPTS FOR EPTA ONCE AGAIN TO RESTYLE ITS TWO STORES IN CALABRIA
PAC 2000A Conad, leader in the large-scale retail sector in Central and Southern Italy, opts for Epta technologies once again, already installed in numerous stores of the consortium, to restyle the Super Store of Maida, in the province of Catanzaro and the Store of Cirò Marina, in the province of Crotone.
Both supermarkets are strategic points of reference for the area, able to serve local communities and the countless tourists who crowd the famous medieval town of Maida, perched on Mount Contessa and set between the Tyrrhenian and Ionian Seas, and the golden beaches of Cirò Marina.
The narrowest isthmus of all the Italian peninsula makes way for the most innovative Epta solutions, at the heart of a refitting project which demonstrates the founding values of the Conad business model, namely maximum quality, convenience of products and centrality of people.
EPTA SUPPORTS CONRAD FOR SUSTAINABLE REFRIGERATION
Epta supports the transition of Conad towards more sustainable Retail, ensuring 100% natural refrigeration with Costan cabinets. This reflects the constant commitment of the Supermarket Chain to minimise the energy consumption and the environmental impact of its stores.
With this goal, PAC 2000A Conad chooses to remodernise its two supermarkets with CO2 refrigeration units, the EC93 Epta unit in the first and the EC91 in the second, both functioning with transcritical technology FTE Full transcritical Efficiency.
The centrepieces of the restyling project are the Costan models which, designed to enhance the freshness of ingredients and specialties of Calabria, adapt to the needs of each single product category, elegantly furnishing all departments of the store.
The centrality of Fresh products in the store is accentuated by the models:
- GranVista of the GranFit range which in the Open version showcases fresh-cut produce and ready-to-use, lightly-processed, perishable products, and, in the Closed Version with transparent full height doors, prepacked dairy products.
- Rhapsody Open, refrigerated panoramic island, and Silk of the Outfit family, refrigerated cabinet with 2 wells, dedicated to the assortment of high-margin meats and cured meats packaged in a tray, positioned in the area which boosts impulse sales.
- Batik of the Outfit range in the open version, semivertical for the perfect conservation of fresh cheese and regional products.
- Velvet RDA and SV of the same family, respectively traditional serve-over and semi-vertical coordinated self-service refrigerated cabinets, host renowned and high-quality pastries, enhanced in presentation and flavour.
The stores opted for the Velvet Tower model to make the display of professional cakes even more stunning, and the butcher's department features the same model providing a large space to showcase the high-quality cuts of meat from all over the world.
To finish, the new layout of the two supermarkets provides a large space for frozen products thanks to the alternation of horizontal and vertical solutions, namely the Tortuga 2000 and Granbering models of the GranFit family, able to ensure excellent energy performance and maximum visibility.
