ALL NEW IN BELLUNO: EPTA COMPLETES THE RESTYLING OF THE TOWN’S EUROSPAR SUPERMARKET
Epta has recently completed the restyling of the Eurospar supermarket of Belluno, a strategic store able to serve a large urban area with different purchasing needs, thanks to a refrigeration system and state-of-the-art fittings, dedicated to the storage and display of the vast assortment of local specialties.
Located just a short distance from the Dolomites and surrounded by treasures of natural beauty, the superstore of the Despar Retailer has chosen to entrust Epta with its restructuring project, thanks to its leadership in sustainable refrigeration and shared sensitivity for the area. One of the most important production plants of the Group is located in Limana, a few kilometres from the new Eurospar.
AN EFFICIENT SYSTEM FOR SUBSTANTIAL SAVINGS
The store of Belluno boasts the technological primate of having installed the latest Epta branded refrigeration system. The ETE parallel compression system is enhanced in terms of efficiency and energy saving thanks to an evolved regulation of the control system which allows the compressor to increase the power modulation capacity range, for values between 100% and 10%, depending on the refrigeration capacity requested by the system. An upgrade which ensures a significant reduction in the flash gas and an increase in efficiency calculated between 15% and 35%, at temperatures higher than 25°C, compared to a traditional transcritical system equipped with inverter.
HIGH ALTITUDE FRESHNESS FOR A FLAVOUR THAT STANDS OUT
Eurospar chooses refrigeration solutions branded Eurocryor and Costan to furnish every department of the store, with a special focus on fresh produce, which keeps its flavour and the sub-zero products.
Specifically, the preparations of the Award-winning gastronomy of the Retailer are stored inside the CrossOver refrigerated display cabinet of the Eurocryor Ambienti family, which combines a self-service cabinet for pre-packed products with a classic serve-over cabinet for assisted sale.
CrossOver, the result of the effective “two cabinets in one" formula, features reduced floor space, proving ideal for small sales surfaces and to stimulate cross-merchandising. In addition, the most advanced storage technologies, namely DoubleCold for different positive temperatures depending on the products displayed, are associated with essential aesthetics and total visibility, ensured by maximum transparency of the display cabinet.
The negative temperature GranBering vertical cabinets and the GranOntario wells of the Costan GranFit range are the absolute stars of the frozen department, due to total layout flexibility and excellent energy performance.
Close to the checkouts is a section dedicated to the excellent wine of the Dolomites of Belluno, to which the Tango cabinet of the Costan SlimFit range gives an exclusive character, stimulating impulse buying. Enhanced visibility of the labels thanks to full-height doors and LED lighting, best-in-class performance and significant energy saving confirm the central role of good wine in the Venetian culinary tradition.
