EDEKA FRISCHEMARKT INVESTS IN WATERLOOP TECHNOLOGY BY EPTA: RESTYLING OF THE AM KRONENPLATZ STORE OF KARLSRUHE

Edeke Frischemarkt entrusted itself to the Waterloop technology developed by Epta to complete the restyling of all its refrigeration departments of the Am Kronenplatz store which, located in downtown Karlsruhe, a short distance from the prestigious university, boasts a 100% sustainable and even higher performing refrigeration.

The store is a reference point which offers a vast assortment of products, from regional gastronomic specialties to trending products such as protein bars and drinks, highly appreciated by the 18,000 consumers who choose this supermarket for their weekly shopping.

​Key customer loyalty drivers are the freshness and quality of all the foods which, high margin or frozen, are perfectly preserved inside the most innovative solutions branded Bonnet Névé, selected by the store manager because of their reliability, excellent energy performance and elegant aesthetics which is completely customisable.

INTEGRAL WATERLOOP: ONE TECHNOLOGY, INFINITE BENEFITS

​Furthermore, compliant with the stringent F-Gas regulations, the solutions installed use R290 propane as refrigerant fluid and glycol water as anti-freeze protection, showing its concrete attention to sustainability which has always distinguished Epta.

EPTA INTEGRAL AND SKYVIEW INTEGRAL PERFORM, ALLIES FOR SUSTAINABLE COLD

The Skyvew Integral Perform of the SkyEffect range and Eyris Integral branded Bonnet Névé are the protagonists of the store. Both are in Waterloop version and destined respectively to the Fresh prepackaged department and to the Frozen area and feature a refrigeration unit which is fully integrated and preassembled inside the refrigerated cabinet, which makes them ideal for any expository configuration.

The vertical positive cabinets distinguish themselves for optimal isolation and 26% more performance compared to previous models, by being in class B, to ensure a truly sustainable Cold. The negative wells allow a greater expository capacity and maximum accessibility to products, enhanced in terms of visibility thanks to total transparency. The horizontal cabinets are extremely versatile not only aesthetically, and are also available in a Dual convertible version, which allows to alternate refrigeration class depending on the product preserved.

Finally, in this restyling operation, Epta has been able to demonstrate once again its expertise as Fully Integrated Provider, ensuring an impeccable service of installation, commissioning and maintenance. The operations were carried out by highly qualified personnel, working separately in the two departments without ever causing disruption to the operation of the store.
